Laura was born and raised in Southern California and has always lived here, with the last 25 years being a Monrovia resident. All of these years have given Laura real insight into the ebb and flow of the local real estate market , which she passes along to her clients.

Her career began with Thoroughbred race horses, where she did everything from exercising and working with Hall of Fame trainer Charles Whittingham, to arranging their transport worldwide. Ultimately, she ended up in the sales and management aspect of the business where she was successful on both a national and international level.

Laura started her career with Avantra Real Estate Services and when that company merged with Dickson Podley she was thrilled at the added opportunities that afforded her. She prides herself and on the one-on-one relationship fostered with her clients. “I treat each and every one of my clients as if they were the only ones I will ever have and concentrate on doing the best possible job for them. It is most important for me to do an A-1 job for the clients I have and I won’t do anything to compromise their buying/selling experience. In my mind, nothing is worse for a client than to be shuttled to an assistant or to not be available for them.”

Besides her race horse experience, Laura competes with Field Trial Dogs and is an animal lover to the max. As soon as she is aware that her clients have animals, she has a head’s up on what they might need. Laura’s father is the noted equine artist Fred Stone and he credits Laura with getting him involved with the race horses. His work is owned by a wide spectrum of collectors from President Bush to the Queen of England.

Laura specializes in residential and residential income properties.
