About Kate Blackwood

Kate Blackwood is a partner at Deasy Penner & Partners and has a background in all styles of architecture from Modern, Post Modern, Spanish, Mission, Craftsman, Bungalow to Cape Cod. Kate’s Buyers and Sellers have taken her from Pasadena to Malibu. She specializes in families, and relocation with an in-depth knowledge of school districts: private and public. Kate also works closely with European buyers and sellers both in Los Angeles and Internationally.

 

Prior Kate was with Sotheby’s Intl. Realty for 10 years. The circle of clients that Kate has enjoyed have an artistic eye and an idea for architecture that required a more refined and yet eclectic sensibility. The formation of Deasy Penner & Partners better supported this for Kate and the transition was instant. Her mission is to find all the elements that complete a client’s happiness under one roof and call it home.

 

Kate came to Hollywood from New York City for the film industry and after many years of as producer of Music Videos, Commercials and Films she segued into real estate. At first by buying and selling her own properties and then by demand, she became an agent for her film friends and colleagues. She married Private Chef Alberto Lazzarino. They have two children and live in Hancock Park.
