Erbe + Blackham specializes in buying and selling architectural and design-centric properties in Pasadena, Los Angeles, and Palm Springs. We also restore and renovate properties for resale through our company Revisioned Homes. We love people as much as architecture and thrive on bringing the two together. We represent both sellers and buyers and bring 30 years experience and expertise in real estate transactions, architecture, restoration, renovation, interior design, and marketing. We help our clients in all aspects of buying and selling – from prepping a property for sale to staging, moving, or relocating – whatever it takes to get a home looking its best before it goes on the market, or making it just right before you move in. For sellers, we can help package and present a property to realize its maximum potential. For buyers we provide a vision and strategy to help you find, or create, the perfect home for the best value. We know moving can be both exciting and stressful, and our goal is to make the process both easy and pleasurable. We joined Deasy Penner Podley because of our shared passion for design and architecture and reputation for representing properties by noted architects including Buff + Hensman, Ed Fickett, Irving Gill, A. Quincy Jones, Ray Kappe, Pierre Koenig, William Krisel, Marston + Van Pelt, Wallace Neff, Richard Neutra, Rudolph Schindler, Donald Wexler, and Frank Lloyd Wright. We represent all styles of architecture, from Spanish Revival to midcentury to contemporary and all price points..
Our properties have been featured in the LA Times, Curbed, Wallpaper, This Old House, The Spaces, California Home and Design, Old House Interiors, and in the film, Mid-Century Moderns: The Homes That Define Palm Springs.
Maureen Erbe serves on the Board of Directors of Palm Springs Modernism Week and is on the Benefit Committee for the LA Conservancy. She is founder of Erbe Design, an award-winning branding design firm she operated for 25 years prior to making her passion for renovation, architecture and real estate her full-time focus. A marathon runner and avid collector of whatever catches her eye, Erbe graduated Cum Laude in Design from UCLA and continued her education at Art Center College of Design.
Henry Blackham is a graduate of Art Center College of Design, an avid cyclist, and spent many years as a busy globe-trotting advertising photographer before turning his part time passion and skill for architecture, restoration, design, and real estate into his full-time career.
Bonnie Matthews graduated Cum Laude and received her BFA from Cornish College of the Arts. She is also the owner and founder of the girl’s fashion brand, Blu Pony Vintage. Before starting her fashion brand, she spent years in the fashion photography business as a producer. A former work colleague of Henry’s turned real estate client of erbe + blackham, Bonnie is a welcome addition – bringing her trademark attention to detail, commitment to servicing her clients’ needs, work ethic, and her impeccable design taste.
We believe your home is more than where you live, it’s the special world you create around you, and we take pride using our distinctive skillsets to address each client’s needs, matching people with the right property and helping them do whatever it takes to call it home.
