Wayne Longman
Wayne Longman was a Professional Engineer, who has taken a second career as a Broker- Associate. He has lived in the Desert since 2001 and has been a Realtor for twelve years. He has listed high-end properties in the Valley and worked with high-end buyers.
Wayne applies his analytical abilities to understand and characterize past and emerging real estate market trends and conditions. By combining regional and local trends, he explicitly shows his clients how these affect their position in the market. His strong computer and internet skills present this in a clear and unique way. Armed with this information his clients are provided with and understand their range of pricing options.
Wayne worked as an engineer for more than thirty years. He was an engineering supervisor for the installation of electronic aeronautical systems and then managed a staff of about three hundred for their maintenance and operation. He instructed technical and operational staff in capital project management. Wayne was Head of Delegation to International Civil Aviation Organization meetings and on many official federal delegations of both Canada and the United States to International Telecommunications Union and other meetings. He most recently worked five years in Washington D.C. as Director, Regulatory Affairs for Teledesic, LLC, a satellite communications company founded by Craig McCaw.
This diverse management experience in complex environments and his technical, administrative and communication skills are now applied to assist homeowners in this changing and difficult market. By systemizing the real estate pricing process and the listing and marketing costs and options, he gives homeowners a much clearer picture of their future course of action. A background of government, international, business and competitive environments, along with extensive real estate training, and administrative skills are useful in the preparation of clients for a transaction, during the property marketing period; in the negotiation and execution of the contract. Wayne’s engineering inclination perfectly complements Ralph’s orientation to art, design, and architecture. Modern design has a technical aesthetic that appeals to him.

He is very customer service, market, product, and detail oriented.
His life-long interest in fashion, design and trends naturally leads to architecturally significant mid-century, vintage & modern real estate. In particular, Mid-Century Modernism, by the trendsetting architects who came to the Desert in the 1950s and incorporated nature and the amazing desert light into homes.
Ralph finds real estate exciting on two levels. First is the artistic enjoyment of the architecture, and helping people find the home that expresses their vision. Second is how technology puts listings at almost everyone’s fingertips anywhere, anytime, and how technology helps him provide the seller with better analytic tools than ever.
