This handsome midcentury modern residence sits on a hill near the Silver Lake Reservoir, and appears to have the stamp of approval of comedian Kristen Wiig—the owner of the house, Variety reports.
Built in 1952 and designed by architect Albert Martin, the house holds three bedrooms, fireplaces, floor-to-ceiling windows, and original features like hand-painted tiles and decorative window screens.
Exquisite cedar ceilings and custom cement-tile floors run throughout the house, and the bathroom is bedecked with Heath tiles.
The property has been renovated and expanded upon. It holds a new screening room, a contemporary pool house, and a new multi-purpose space with “an expansive guest property, studio and sauna,” the listing says.
