This Santa Monica Canyon cottage has a wonderful, raw look about it, with its vaulted ceilings, exposed beams, and contrasting white walls. Built in the 1920s, the open and airy cottage has Douglas fir floors and beautiful French doors. There are also high-end appliances and finishes, lest anyone forget this is Santa Monica.
The master bedroom shares the sky-high ceilings of the communal spaces, and a fireplace and French doors that open out to the backyard add to the room’s grandness.
