This house is in a mostly residential section of Altadena, about a five-minute drive from the shopping along Lake Avenue. A number of trailheads are within a short drive or walk, including Henninger Trailhead, which has paths of varying difficulty for hikers and mountain bikers.
Altadena Town & Country Club, a members-only club with tennis and swimming facilities, and Altadena Golf Course, a public course with a driving range, are about five minutes away by car. Driving to downtown Los Angeles takes about half an hour, as does heading east into the heart of the San Gabriel Valley.
